- Spring/Summer Season
March - September
Begins in March with draining our breeding and growing ponds.
Feeding time in the evening is a great time to view hundreds of koi
at once.
- Fall/Winter Season
October - February
We stop feeding the koi when water temperature reaches 50oF
(10o C). Koi are dormant during this period, and
their digestive system closes down. We will resume feeding
when water temperature reaches above 50oF. That is
approximately March for Savannah Springs Koi.
